Generac Oil Filter 90mm High Capacity (30% More Filter)

Generac has made changes to the standard oil filter for their generators, including the removal of the "30% More Filter" labeling from the actual oil filter. The extended life, 90MM long filter is now the standard oil filter on all Generac generators, and it is 30% longer than the previous standard filter used in the early 2000s. The specific oil filter is the Generac - OIL FILTER 90 LOGO ORNG-CAN - 070185E, which is the OEM oil filter designed to fit most Generac engines used on generators and other manufacturers' equipment post 2008.

This oil filter is compatible with various models, including 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, & 20kW air-cooled Generac, Centurion, Siemens, & Eaton standby generators post 2008, as well as 10 - 17.5 KW Generac XP, XG, & Ultra Source series portable generators.

Generac no longer uses the "30% more filter" terminology, and has replaced the 070185E oil filter with the 070185ES, which simply signifies that the filter color is orange. Despite the new part number for the filter, the 070185ES and 070185E filters are identical in all other aspects. The manufacturer has made this substitution for the part, and although it may differ in appearance from prior parts, it is a functional equivalent. This oil filter is a Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part and is compatible with Generac brands.

When installing this oil filter (part number 070185E), it is recommended to wear work gloves to protect your hands.
